Which Outback generation do you have?

The Outback splits at 2026. If you drive a 2020 through 2025 vehicle, the Outback 2020-2025 set is yours. The redesigned 2026 vehicle has its own scan, covered by the 2026 Outback set.

This is a split worth getting right rather than guessing at. A redesign changes the floor pan, and a mat scanned to the previous generation will gap at the sills and bunch at the tunnel, which is precisely where trail dirt and snowmelt collect.

The Forester has four configurations, not one

The Forester is where most wrong orders happen, because the current generation splits by powertrain and trim rather than year alone.

Earlier vehicles use the Forester 2019-2024 set. For the current generation there are three separate scans. The Forester 2025-2027 set fits gas models only. The Forester Hybrid set covers 2025-2026 hybrid vehicles, which package the battery differently and change the floor. The Forester Wilderness set is scanned for that trim on its own.

The gas-only restriction on the 2025-2027 set is the one to watch. If you are in a Forester Hybrid and order the standard set because the year matches, the year is not the thing that matters.
