BMW X3: which generation do you have?

The X3 was redesigned for 2018 and updated again for 2025, and the floor changed enough that the sets are scanned separately. Earlier vehicles use the 2018-2024 BMW X3 set. The current vehicle uses the 2025-2026 BMW X3 set built for the redesigned platform.

The X3 footwell is deep with a pronounced center tunnel on the driver's side. Conventional mats gap on both the tunnel edge and the outer door sill. Each TuxMat® X3 set accounts for both, with a raised inner edge that follows the tunnel and a sill profile that runs flush to the carpet edge.

BMW X5: 5-Seater or 7-Seater?

The current X5 launched for 2019 and is offered in both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. The floor layouts differ between them, so the sets are not interchangeable.

The X5 5-Seater set covers the first and second rows, and it also fits X5 PHEV models, which is worth knowing if you are in a plug-in hybrid and expected to hunt for a separate listing. The X5 7-Seater set adds third-row coverage, which has a different shape and depth than the 5-seat version.

If you are not certain which you have, check the sticker inside the driver's door jamb or your build sheet. The X5's rear footwell is wide and relatively flat, which can make it look like a generic mat would work. It will not. The front footwells are shaped around the seat rail system in a way that needs exact fitment to reach the edges.

BMW X7: 6-Seat or 7-Seat?

The X7 is BMW's full-size three-row SUV, and it has the most involved fitment of the three. The seating arrangement changes the floor layout across all three rows, so the split matters more here than anywhere else in the range.

The X7 6-Seater set is built for vehicles with second-row captain's chairs, which create a different center profile and floor shape in row two. The X7 7-Seater set is built for the second-row bench, with different contours for that row. Both cover rows one through three.

The third row is the one people forget. It sees the most debris transfer from passengers loading and unloading near the tailgate, and it is the hardest area to clean once grit works into the carpet. If anyone uses those seats regularly, third-row coverage earns its place.
