Ram 1500 Floor Mats: Fitment Guide for Crew Cab, Quad Cab, and Regular Cab

Ram 1500 floor mat fit comes down to three things: cab configuration (Crew, Quad, or Regular), generation and model year, and which row count you need covered. We laser-scan each Ram 1500 cab separately, so the rear mat actually fills the rear floor instead of sitting on top of it. If you drive a Crew Cab or Quad Cab, you're looking at a two-row set. If you drive a Regular Cab, you're looking at a single-row set that covers both the driver and passenger sides. Below is how to match your specific truck to the right set, what custom fit gets you that a tray-style truck liner can't, and the cab-specific details most owners miss until the mat is already in the cab.

Cab Style Decides Almost Everything Before Year Does

Most truck mat searches start with year. With the Ram 1500, cab style is the better first filter. The front footwells are similar across cabs, but the rear-floor geometry changes dramatically.

A Crew Cab gives you four full-size doors and a true second row with usable rear footwells. A Quad Cab has smaller rear-hinged doors and a shorter rear floor area. A Regular Cab has no rear seat and no rear floor to cover. Each of those rear floors is shaped differently. A two-row set scanned for a Crew Cab won't sit flat in a Quad Cab. • Ram 1500 "Classic," 2019-2024: the prior DS body that Ram kept in production alongside the DT as a lower-trim option through the 2024 model year. We have a Classic Crew Cab, Classic Quad Cab, and Classic Regular Cab set for this overlap window.

Pick the cab first, then confirm which of those three generations your truck is. The DT body has the redesigned dashboard, larger central infotainment screen, and updated door panels. The Ram 1500 Classic kept the older DS-body interior even when sold as a 2019-2024 model. So a 2019 through 2024 truck could be either DT or Classic. The window sticker or a VIN decode will confirm which one you have. For 2025 and 2026 model years, the truck is DT.

Rear floor contour. Ram 1500 rear floors have a center hump and seat-track cutouts that vary by cab. A flat liner sits on top of those contours and leaves a gap underneath where dirt collects and never gets vacuumed out. A scanned mat hugs the contour and the dirt stays on top of the mat where it can be wiped off.

Slide-forward under braking. This is the one truck owners notice first. A heavy panic stop sends an unsecured mat under the pedals. How to Confirm Fit Before You Order

FAQ

Will TuxMat® fit my Ram 1500 if I have aftermarket pedals or a different seat?

The mats are scanned to the factory floor pan, pedal layout, and seat-track positions for your specific cab and generation. Aftermarket pedals usually mount inside the original pedal footprint, so fit is generally unaffected. Replacement seats that bolt to factory tracks don't change the floor-pan geometry, so the mat fits the same. Custom seats on relocated tracks are the exception. If you're not sure, send us a photo of the floor before ordering.

Are TuxMat® mats water-resistant enough for muddy job sites?

Yes. The top layer is a water-resistant PVC vinyl that holds mud, slush, and spills on the surface. Tip the mat into a bucket or hose it off and the water doesn't soak through to the factory carpet. We use water-resistant rather than waterproof because no mat is sealed at the edges. What we promise is that the top surface protects the carpet underneath.

Does the Ram 1500 Crew Cab set fit different trims?

The mats are scanned to the cab geometry, not the trim package. Trims that share the standard Crew Cab floor pan are generally covered by the Crew Cab set for the matching generation and model year. The product page is the authoritative source on any specific trim. Check it before ordering, especially for performance or off-road trims that may differ.

Can I use TuxMat® over the factory all-weather mats?

We don't recommend stacking mats. Two layers add height, which can affect pedal clearance and creates a sliding surface between the two mats. Remove the factory mats first and install our set directly on the carpet.

The Ram 1500 set is for the cab floor only. We don't currently make a bed liner. If you carry gear inside the cab (toolboxes, generators, coolers), the rear floor mat is the surface protecting your carpet from it.
